Lower Sugar Donuts in the Cereal Aisle?

Lower Sugar Donuts in the Cereal Aisle?

The latest offering from innovative family focused Melbourne start-up The No Nasties Project is hitting the shelves of Coles in time for back to school. A new 3.5 health star rated, 50% less sugar cereal range with added B-Vitamins and Iron looks to be a surefire hit with the kids.

The range also has a new upbeat and fun pack design entrenching the brands mission for a healthier lower sugar Australia whilst appealing to a broader range of shoppers. The new look range includes a new flavour of Cinnamon Donuts  - inspired by the bakery classic - along with classic Fruity Loops and Choc Bombs.

"Australians have high consumption of sugar with a typical Australian consuming 14 - 16 teaspoons of sugar daily, over twice the recommended daily consumption of 6 teaspoons by The World Health Organisation. At The No Nasties Project, we are on a crusade to provide a healthier option in mainstream sugary categories to help reduce sugar intake across Australia" says Founder David Andrew of The No Nasties Project.

The new range marks the sixth range expansion from the brand in the past year. "We aim to take on the big guys by providing affordable lower sugar options within everyday supermarket categories", says Andrew. The Melbourne-based family centric brand will continue to challenge the mainstream snack space with more better-for-you options in 2022 with further expansion  planned in Icy Poles and cookie ranges, while continuing their support for grassroots schools and clubs initiatives.

"By buying the No Nasties Project 50% less sugar range you're supporting our crusade for a lower sugar Australia and for every ton of sugar we remove we invest $100 back to schools and clubs around Australia, including our annual SugarFreezies Icy Stix Day" says Andrew.
